I don’t want the lowest common denominator and didn’t say I did. I would prefer to see a more traditional economy/business product, where the business product is really a business product. I am really not crazy about differentiated service within economy class, as bmi had before they disappeared. But the intra- European business product of most of the carriers is pretty poor these days. And for those who constantly decry the catering as unimportant, that is sometimes all I have got time for between gigs. So if I am in Biz class, it would be nice to have something quite a bit better than what Eurowings offers.
It is interesting to note that this tawdry dimunition of the word business to Biz is something that Brussels Airlines does. Now there’s a European business class project for you to salivate over. Given that Brussels Airlines was slated to be folded into Eurowings I wonder if that’s a sign for the future.
