goalie parents are returning ORD-SFO on UA1176 Tuesday, May 8th and both are on sponsored GS RPU's
Reservation was split at check-in on the outbound portion of the itinerary due to waitlisted upgrades
goalie-dad (gold) cleared ORD -SFO into PN 4 days ago
goalie-mom (no status) is still waitlisted for PN ORD-SFO
Assuming goalie-mom doesn't clear until the on-line check-in window opens at T-24 hours-

Should I check goalie-mom in at t-24 hours or wait?
And once goalie mom is checked in, how does her waitlisted for PN inventory come into play both once checked in and when the upgrade list goes to the gate handling upgrades?
