Thank you for the feedback. I looked into refundable fares and they are doable at $550 for 2 in biz. Will decide this weekend on what to do but as others stated I am thinking the train will make for a less stressful experience. AA is using the old refurb 767s on this new route and from what I hear they can have mechanical delays on these old birds.

A few years back I did MSP-AMS by plane and the AMS-BER(lin) by train on the same day and it wasn't bad save for my train being delayed for about an hour in AMS.
