I believe that's because the person who wrote that email has never been onboard the A350. But they had to write something, so they took a quick look at the seat map and this is what they came up with. I'm just home from another A350 flight (seat 8L) and I can tell you that, unfortunately, it's a very cramped seat. I'm 184 cm tall.
