this really had been handeled horribly. transition with 3 months notice mid year without clearly defined benefits post merger. luckily i didnt have marriott/spg stays booked post 8/1, but i need to book hotels soon for august. the uncertainty is certainly costing them my business.
the hyatt changes, as bad as they were, were at least handled with transparency and fairness.
