Are there offical taxis or recommended taxis companies at the airport, like Bluebird taxis in Jakarta or Mai Linh taxis in Ho Chi Minh City? If so are there kiosks in the arrivals hall to book/pre-pay for taxis? I think the easiest way to go from the airport teminal 3 to my hotel is by taxi instead of getting confused/lost on the buses because my Chinese language ability is zero and I land at 05:30 from AMS.
Just a normal taxi line. Don't worry about being cheated or ripped off, just be sure to have your hotel name/address written in Chinese to show the driver.
Taxis are cheap in Xiamen, and distances from airport to city hotels are not great.
