I just visited the MLL lounge so I can comment on it. Just keep in mind that terminal A is split into three different spokes, each of which has its own security check and are not connected airside. The AC lounge is in the A10-A18 spoke (so primarily AC, Southwest, and Jet Blue flights).

Anyway, I was there between 11 and 12 so they just started putting out the lunch fare. There was a vegetarian soup and beef chili. They also had a cold potato salad type thing, a kale/cranberry salad, and edamame. If your flight leaves from one of the above gates then you might as well stop by but if not then it might be easier to stop by the A&L lounge. The A&L lounge is definitely dingier but the food options might be comparable - I've never been there for lunch though.

The MLL lounge is also really small - there's one room designed for working and one room with the food/drinks. There's definitely a lack of outlets in the food room.
