Are there offical taxis or recommended taxis companies at the airport, like Bluebird taxis in Jakarta or Mai Linh taxis in Ho Chi Minh City? If so are there kiosks in the arrivals hall to book/pre-pay for taxis? I think the easiest way to go from the airport teminal 3 to my hotel is by taxi instead of getting confused/lost on the buses because my Chinese language ability is zero and I land at 05:30 from AMS.
You may want to check if your hotel offers and airport pickup option. While it won't be the cheapers, it can be a godsend when in these situations - early and long flight, dead tired, brain dead. Seeing a person with your name on a sign can be worth the extra money.
