I'm not saying it should be your concern (even though I might hope it would be). But it might concern any decent airline, if they are only going to offer one choice. There are reasons why they might choose the safer option.

Personally I dislike chicken and avoid it wherever possible. And I used to love prawns, but now I've been told that the slightest cross-contamination could kill me, and I have to carry two epipens. So if there's only one option as a CE meal, I'd prefer it to be chicken. And, now I understand more about allergies, I would advocate for that even if it wasn't an allergen for me personally. I personally don't believe that allergies are just a personal issue; I think we should all try to be as considerate as possible of other people's medical conditions, whether it's a chronic physical or mental handicap or a life-threatening condition.
