The return flight again was unpleasant as far as the airport and ground staff in Manila was concerned. The gate they had Gate 15 had no lifts or escalators and everyone had to walk down a long sets of steps. It should never have been allowed to do that. Then they kept us standing for more than one hour at the gate as they had not enough seats for everyone to sit. The ground staff again was unfriendly .
I got a window seat from Taipei to Toronto and this was a huge mistake. Normally I noticed that all passengers get up at least two to three times during a long flight but this guy who sat in the aisle seat never got up during the entire 14 hour flight. I managed to get up once but then he slept a long time so I was reluctant to wake him up more than once.
The seats were the plus point on Eva and also the price of a premium economy is not bad and almost the same as normal economy on most flights.
The airport in Taipei was decent but the Priority Pass lounge was alright as far as the seating was concerned but the food left a lot to be desired.
For the price they give, Premium Economy is worth it but if they raise the fares then it is not worth it.
