SQ is the code for Singapore Airlines. American Express points can be transferred only the airline frequent flyer programs listed here:

United Airlines (UA) is not listed, but United belongs to a global group of airlines called Star Alliance. To redeem for a flight operated by UA you need to transfer to any Star Alliance member frequent flyer program. There are three possibilities: Air Canada (AC), All Nippon (NH) or Singapore Airlines (SQ).
