Has anyone encountered any negative ramifications of going through the Global Entry background check process? I am in the US on H1B, with a passport that I previously renewed out of the New York Indian Consulate - hence passport has an US address on it. Also, had gotten the Aadhar card when I was previously on vacation in India. Hence not sure whether that will cause issues during background checks?

Reading everything on this thread, I am not even so sure this whole thing is worth it anymore based on my case. I am fine losing the $100, in light of it causing any other complications. I have the H1B renewal due Dec 2018 as well, hence want to ensure nothing derails all of it.

Thoughts??
