I spend the night at the Radisson Blu airport hotel before the morning flight home. By this time I've been on the road for five weeks and I don't need any drama in my life. They start serving breakfast at 6:30. By 7am I'm waiting for the shuttle and by 7:15 I've dropped my bags and am heading for 51st and Green.
I must be one of the few who like pre-clearance. Not having to deal with US Customs and Immigration in ATL means that I can make a 1:38 connection to get me to DAY by 5:54. Otherwise it will be after 10pm.
