The thought has crossed my mind. I live alone as well. I definitely don't tell the Uber guy taking me to the airport that I am going away for a week. Plus, they have no idea whether I am single or have someone else at home. If they ask, I tell them I have a business trip.

I don't think it is much of a risk, but it has crossed my mind.
