This means though, I can't see them via my 4S app, as the reservation appears to be tied to the TA's email rather than mine. Is there any benefit to forcing my email onto the reservation? ie so 4S can see i do multiple stays with them? or would i be treated the same as anyone else? ... just want to maximise my chance of upgrade

Only book via agent and every FS I stayed knew that it wasn't my first time at a FS. Why should they track via e-mail (which can change) and not via name in doubt combined with bith date/ address or whatever?
