This is probably a whine/rant more than a question.

As recently as a year to a year and a half ago, I could rent a car in Vegas for about $175 a week all-in. I usually rent from Nu-car, which is across the street from the rental car facility but is a bit cheaper because you dodge some of the fees.

Now it seems like it's a minimum of $300 a week to rent a car.

No doubt everything in Vegas is going up up up but rental cars seem to have gone up a lot more and a lot faster than anything.
