Incorrect. *G members from other airlines (e.g. United Mileage Plus PE and above) may be invited to use this lounge, as it does count as an AC lounge even though Delta runs it.

I should know; I've been invited to go there before, and I was traveling in AC coach as *G. My point in an earlier post is that these invitations are hit-or-miss, and I've never found the need to spend time in this lounge since, as you stated, it is prior to the security checkpoint.
