A friend who is not a Flyertalker and just an occasional traveller, but certainly internet shopping savvy just posted on social media that he had multiple charges post to his credit card while shopping Delta's website. Shopping/browsing different dates and whether to use miles or dollars, not clicking "Purchase". This is very strange! He had to call DL twice to get the unwanted tickets reversed.
An occasional traveler posted to social media that he was just browsing, yet somehow Delta managed to read the credit card in his wallet and charge him? Sure. Why do people post drivel like this?
