The hotel has been closed for extensive renovations (it looked like a construction site) and now reopened as a Great Wolf Lodge. This is the group that operates at least one big waterpark resort hotel in the Wisconsin Dells. From the outside, it looks to me like the waterpark was enlarged and some additional slide chutes added that extend outside of the building.

BTW, this property should not be confused with the Radisson Blu connected to the Mall of America. The Radisson Blu was opened shortly before the Republican National Convention in 2008 as a new build.
