Personally, I prefer tiny, highly portable, in your ear types: I recently upgraded from the Sony NC-11s to the Sure E3C Earbuds (Ultra - Lightweight, sound isolating earphones with superb high -end reproduction, ideal for I-Pods, MP3 players and all personal listening) for $129.99 from eCost (or $136 including shipping).
