Was going to stay with my family but circumstances ( new baby) require us to find a hotel. Would like to be on the Upper West Side although anything north of Central Park South would do...we usually stay at the Lucerne but wondered what else is out there. I have pondered the Excelsior but the reviews in
TripAdvisor are lukewarm... we can spend about $200 a night.... any gems other than the Lucerne... We don't mind upper-end chain hotels either... thanks.
