i do believe we will all get FTD points but i am not counting on it being anytime soon.

Here's my latest exchange with eBay, FWIW:

Hello vasantn,

Thanks for writing back with this information. I realize how
frustrating this has been for you, and I'll be happy to help you.

I have sent your email to one of our points specialists and they will
look into this matter for you. We hope to have this resolved for you
soon. Again, I will email you as soon as I hear anything further.

I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this situation has caused you.
Thanks again for your patience and thank you for using eBay.

Regards,

Dear Brandon:

I have called FTD and they say there is nothing they can do. They have
posted the points to my EAP account number and claim that they have no
way of reversing that credit and applying the points to my eBay UserID.

This is not acceptable.

Since eBay has access to my EAP account information as well as my eBay UserID, it should be a simple matter for eBay to fix this internally, since FTD is unable or unwilling to do it. They claim that they have been charged for
the points already and cannot reverse them.

Bottom line: if I don't get these points into my account in the next two
days, I will have spent a lot of money for nothing. I made $500 of
purchases of items that I didn't need solely to get the 20,000 AnythingPoints, to take advantage of a mileage conversion promotion that expires June 30. So in effect, this will cost me a free round-trip ticket to Europe that I was counting on, unless you can resolve this immediately.

For the record, my EAP account number is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX and my eBay UserID is XXXXXX. Also, my PayPal email address is [email protected].

I await a speedy and favorable resolution.

Regards,

vasantn

Of course, it is now July 1 and the points have not shown up. I am going to try to hold eBay responsible for the additional 25,000 AnythingPoints that they morally owe me to make up for the lost bonus opportunity on the AA miles conversion.
