Lufthansa (1-800 number) said they will not let her board the plane. I searched other threads on this topic and as recently as February of 2018 people were saying middle name was not necessary on the ticket. I don't know how carrier specific this assertion is. Does anyone have recent experience with Lufthansa and Air Canada with their middle name missing from the ticket? Thanks!
Welcome to FT! In my over 500k miles of flying, I've probably not had my middle name on my ticket 70% of the time and never had an issue.
