I figured it’s probably a safe bet to order the gluten free meals for the J sectors so there’s at least something for her to snack on. I also trust LX F lounge in Zurich and LH FCT can handle her gluten free diet. But what I have trouble with are the F sectors.
As GF meals in Y and J have proven to be quite bad in general I was wondering if it would be the best bet to go with the regular menu and pick gluten free sounding options? Are the FA’s aware of allergens in each dish? She is not extremely sensitive to cross contamination and small amounts of wheat but naturally would get very sick if eating things like sauces with flour etc.
Also we have a 2.5h dinner time connection at ZHR on the way out. Is that enough time to dine at the lounge? On the way back we have 4 hours in the morning in rhe FCT so breakfast and a shower should fit in easily.
IME the FA’s in F are provided with full details of the meals & used to requests such as yours.

2.5 hours is fine for connecting & dining in ZRH as long as you end up with 2.5 hours.
