really? it was just heavily discounted? meaning there was a time where these flights were 280-345 USD? my memory goes back to 2005, prices were about 180-200-220 usd then. didnt have to grab that 1 'odd' hour flight to get this price either. I would say that in 2017, westjet from NY to Toronto or Montreal, was the only carrier that was last year.... significately more expensive than porter or aircanada barring the occasional coupon code. their flights within canada, were comparatively cheap though.
past several years, I thought maybe due to the usd/cad exchange rates favoring usd, it kept prices low... but i saw prices creep up in jan of this year. By feb, my price queries showed me noticeably higher prices.+80$ bucks usd.
I can't see where else a 'short' flight is soo y godlexpensive. May as well drive instead, waaaaay cheaper. I' mean it's bascially a 1 hour flight and several hours dealing with getting to and from ea. airport and airport processing time.
