OK...just had a chat with a helpful BA rep on the phone, and whilst the price of the package is (about) £1500 all in as a WT booking, in order for the class of flight to be upgradeable, it adds £735 to the package cost, and then I would also need to use 66,000 Avios (I think he said it was)...so it really means that it is no better of than me booking the package as a WTP package and keeping my Avios (and getting some more from the booking itself)...

So all I have to do now is decide if the increased cost from a WT to a WTP package is worth it for what you get on the flight...the hotel and flight dates/times are the same...

And if I decide on WT, whether to go BA WT or AA economy...

Oh, and one last thing...I noticed that the AA GLA-PHL is actually a B757, not an A330...(the A330 is on the Dub-PHL route, which is what I flew last time...)...so BA WT B747/B787 or AA economy B757...
