The only way I’ll even remotely consider staying with SPG is if they change the everyday spend to 3 points instead of 2. It’s laughable that they are introducing a “luxury” card that offers so much less than the original SPG card. And they want to charge $450? Give me a break. My business from now on will be split between Hilton and Hyatt. With the CSR card I’ll be able to maximize my Hyatt spend. It’s not ideal, but it’s the best option for me. I’d rather spend the $450 on th CSR card.
