No worries - didn't think you were. Only made that clarification because if it's available on ANA and SQ, one might say - well just book it there.

I don't know how good SQ is about having phantom vs. real inventory, but at this point, a preponderance of the evidence seems to suggest that the seat you want is there. And since other LH flights are showing up fine, I don't see any reason that UA agents shouldn't be able to access the seat that you're looking for.
Tried gently guiding the agent to doing a long sell. What started as a very friendly conversation quickly turned sour. I think the agent thought I was trying to get her to call LH and ask them to release availability. With the new awardsystem, UA agents seem afraid to do anything outside of it.
