The bad part about about this is you have to deplane, grab your luggage, and go through security again. But you will have access to the beautiful SWISS lounges at ZRH, lie-flat seats on both legs, and low YQ.

Taxes are lower than $90. I paid $47.80 and that includes some surcharge for the AC YUL YYZ leg as a non status tangerine I’m guessing.
Just do what I do an ensure you aren’t on the last YUL YYZ of the day. I booked the 1:15 over the 3:45 connection but as a J pax even on points I am hopeful AC won’t screw me too much if I don’t make it.
