RGN handles two 77Ws a day courtesy of EK, and probably has hosted many in its lifetime. But on that map it sits almost in the dark. Why doesn’t it get a bright circle?
I’m also a tad suspicious that there are no airports along the north east coast of Libya that could serve as a 777 landing strip. BEN has two 11,700 feet runways, but is deep in the dark. I’m not suggesting a sightseeing tour, but is it really significantly less convenient than TIP, which apparently does get a light circle?
Is there something special about the airports chosen to be diversion stations?
