Do I actually have to "check in" to receive credit for Accelerate?
I need one more stay by the end of this month, and was wanting to make reservations at a HIE, but not go there and actually check in. In the past, I have called the HIE that I had reservations with and told them that I live out of state and just want to check in for the points, and I've never had a problem before. But, could I just not check in, get charged one night for not cancelling my room and still get credit for Accelerate?
