So this time it is another story.
I, again, rented a car with Thrifty at MKE. I did ask them to put miles to Northwest. When the transaction was over, I looked at the receipt and found that I was not charged for the frequent flyer fee (about 0.06 cents). I then went back to counter and asked them about this. To my surprise, the young lady told me that they do not charge the fee to post miles; it is a courtesy to the customer. I then said that just a few days I rented a car with Thrifty at Denver where they do charge $0.06 per day to post miles. Then the lady was very not very happy and said "so what do you want us to do?" I couldn't argue more since I supposed that she did not know too much about this procedure. Then, the other agent came on and said that she guaranteed that they have never charged a customer for that. But I still don't believe so. Have you had any similar siuations?
