Just to caution for anyone thinking about racking up lots of MR points for cash ticket. The AmEx travel booking site doesn't show TK fares, even on routes where/when I know very well that TK operates and is also the cheapest. This includes simple XXX-IST, where AmEx will show you LH and BA, no TK at all. Unless things change in the future, transferring MR points to other FFPs to redeem for award ticket is the only option.

The easiest option to get a lot of TK miles at this point is probably Citi TY Premier but some have reported issues of moving miles to MS, takes more than just clicking transfer button online.
