I'm renting a car from Avis, my first car rental. It's offering me a list of protections and coverages, including LDW, PAI, PEP, and ALI. I don't own a car so I don't have car insurance, but I do have a number of premium credit cards, with the Chase Sapphire Reserve seeming to offer the best protections.

I gather that I should decline the LDW since the CSR covers that. I don't think I need PAI since I have medical insurance, and I'm not bringing anything expensive so PEP seems unnecessary.

But I'm confused about the ALI. Will I need this? Is there a chance I already have this covered in some way?
