J Cabin Luggage Question

Tried searching but there doesn't seem to be any recent topics on this. Has anyone had any recent experience on how strict SQ is with J cabin luggage. I usually don't have any problem with this since I only carry a small messenger/sling bag and laptop bag.

On an upcoming trip, I have this 'vintage' hard shell roller from the 80s (it looks cool, imo) and I want to take it back with me flying to tpac to the US. In terms of number of pieces I don't think I have an issue with adding this since I am allowed 2 pieces flying J so that would be my small sling bag and this roller. There is also an allowed addition of a laptop in it's own bag so that would be my laptop sling sleeve. My concern is the dimensions of the roller because when I measured it it came out to 119 cm. I'm only planning to put some work papers and a change of clothes in it so I don't think it will exceed 7kg (it might not even reach 5). I know it's a small difference from the 115 cm max, but is there a chance they would flag it and I would need to check it in? If so, I would just pack it full to maximize the weight allowance.

Rule posted on their site is:
Suites, First Class, Business Class
2 pieces up to 7kg each / Sum of length, width and height of each piece should not exceed 115cm
You may carry ONE of these items with you on our flights, free of charge, in addition to your cabin baggage allowance (subject to country restrictions, where applicable): Laptop / Notebook in bag
