If I go with SQ J, sure it's a nice product and less miles but then I still need to book a roughly 4 hour flight to Chicago. More hassle than it's worth.
This wasn't a comparison between cabin products or routings. But if you needed to fly from Southeast or Northeast Asia to ORD or anywhere in the midwest I'm sure BR, NH and even CX (albeit non-*A) would offer significantly better options.
