EVA J is great but why would you transfer cc points to KF and then think of booking *A partner awards instead of SQ's premium cabin products? For what it's worth, HKG to SFO in SQ J (777W) will only require 82,000 miles.
I ended up booking HKG-SFO in F on SQ. I figured I could redeem on SQ, and also *A partners. I did not realize how high their award chart is on *A partners. Another good aspect of having Krisflyer Miles is redemptions on Alaska Airlines if I need for cheaper than what AS charges.
