My wife and I flew 3 trips on KL short haul (sub 500 miles) in the part 2 weeks. 2 one way trips were purchased through DL, not DL Code Shares, and 1 R/T directly with KLM. We used our DL SM Numbers and received all benefits (DM & GM). All trips were booked in KL Discount Economy (Class T). We received a free checked bag each and got preferred seating as well as Sky Priority for FAST Lane security and boarding on all flights.

I don't have full details on SM crediting yet, only the first trip has posted and the numbers don't make sense in terms of the earning chart. I'm not concerned since these were all short trips and the earnings will be insignificant in relation to our Medallion requalifications.

Keep in mind that your check-in and boarding passes will be KL and be sure to get the KL PNR.

My wife gets a kick out of KL serving a sandwich or wrap on a 1 hour flight when DL can't even handle a snack basket.

The other interesting aspect is that we got Lounge Access as ST+ as our flights were International (AMS-PRG-AMS and AMS-CPH-AMS).
