My guess is that AY would rather have the passenger fly on AY-metal from CPH since they don't have to share the cost with TF then. Another theory would that there is an agreement that AY isn't allowed to compete with TF on the direct route, per demand from TF.
Flew MMX-HEL last week on its second day of operations. A total of six passengers onboard. They even had three FAs (crew training?).
What I found interesting was that all the announcements mentioned Finnair and Oneworld, even though this isn't a "pure" Finnair flight, just a codeshare.
I give this route until the end of May. A shame really, but that's the way it goes...
