Edit: as picked up by JPDM below, this itinerary is 30 hours and must have a visa. The following information assumed transit less than 24 hours!

Yes this should be fine. According to our current understanding, as per the wiki, there is a new transit visa on arrival for passengers with multiple stops in china. Whether or not check-in staff are familiar with this remains to be seen, but they will be familiar with TWOV. Either way i’d allow a bit of extra time checking in as the rules around transit and multiple stops involving CAN have changed a couple of times over the last few months. Check in staff may wish to be cautious and double check the rules.
