I agree with this. Although it no longer applies to OP's case, for possible future instances, I would remind that it's okay to HUCA. If you don't feel comfortable with the short connecting time after the schedule change, even though it is still outside the minimum connecting time (say 30 minutes), we do have a case to make about preferring a longer albeit reasonable connecting time (IMO 2 hours is reasonable, an extra day probably won't fly). If the agent tells you that you "should be fine" with 30 minutes and refuses to change your itinerary -- by either rescheduling your outbound flight from PDX or reaccommodating you on a later flight from SFO, hang up and talk to another agent, or speak to a "supervisor."
