I had a superb club flight from LCY yesterday, to DUB (also from gate 24) Best CSM ever, engaged with every single person in the 2 rows of CE. Stopped the safety briefing halfway through to berate all the passengers ignoring / chatting through it and had full attention after that After we had chatted and I declined a champagne (driving on arrival) I was presented with a kids amenity bag FULL of bottles of champers instead.
Wish I had a physical golden ticket, it felt a bit crappy telling her there was a virtual one on the way (duly sent), even though she was genuinely surprised and pleased when I told her.
So I’d argue there can be a big difference flying CE out of LCY, even If some of the airport facilities are lacking.
