I understand and even welcome marketing activities by companies that I have ongoing relationships with, but BAEC seems to send total nonsense most of the time.
If you want to send "targeted" emails to your frequent flyers then target the emails using information that is less than 6 months old. After all they are not called frequent flyers for nothing and might have taken another flight since then. Or if you send post cards about some other promo, do so before the deal expires...
Either they think that their customers are idiots or they are idiots (or lazy or imcompetent or some other type of non-professionals). Even if I am an idiot I rather not be targeted as one by the companies I give my money to and I would rather keep the illusion that I am not giving my money to idiots either.
