Just saw the news about this refurb in the Houston Business Journal...

...and came here to post it and saw it already had been.

We stay at this Doubletree often and they treat Golds very well. In fact, we're staying there again next week. Very friendly staff. Looking forward to the completion of the renovations, even though IMHO the hotel was pretty well maintained in the past.
