What about an 8 or 9 year platinum with >750 nights (or 732 nights...) who is 1 year away from earning LTP? They will likely just always feel bad that they aren't LTPP.

MR should just make it an achievable status level, which would remove a lot of the pressure, or be very generous at allowing requests from people who are the margins to be included.
