If the devaluation isn't material then why would Marriott see fit to create an entire LT category at all?
In other words, if it wasn't material, why is there even a LTPP? Why isn't everyone mapped to the same LT status?
Hopefully, the corporate powers will hear our words and make the small revision needed for those who met Marriott's LTP threshold in SPG. Those who think this is not important need to look at one of the major reasons Marriott purchased SPG: to gain direct access to its extremely loyal high level elite customer base. Dismissing the valid concerns of these customers does not make business sense.
