exactly. And if they did that, I would have checked the bag or split out the bag inside the bag and checked one of those.
but given they didn't, choosing one person to enforce it on while not enforcing it for others on the same flight, that's stupid, gains nothing and results in the same bags in the plane with a much more pissed off traveler.
I have no issues with proper enforcement.
