the issue is arbitrary enforcement. If you want a clear line, then a clear line must be held not a sizer that rarely gets used and when it does, it is only used for a handful of people on that flight.

Iobjected to, on a 9 segment trip
1. It being enforced on one flight only
2. It was not uniformly enforced on that flight. Several people with more than 2 bags and way larger bags than me were allowed to board

this inconsistency makes the clear line murky and only serves to piss people off.
