...so they basically believe that I ‘opened’ a new Gold Card in Nov 2017 ... even though it was simply a replacement of pre-existing (lost) card and obviously Citi 'closed' the old (lost) card number and issued me a new card number !
I'm speechless. All I have got is the run-around by their reps and their (fake/made-up) guesses as to why I'm ineligible.
This is crazy !
New number = new card opened. Sorry this happened to you. I'm currently fighting with Citi to alter my last statement since I had $1600 in fraud charges and a $2k limit which killed my credit score 40 points so all my churnings stopped.
