That was my immediate reaction. BA launched its HBO fares last week, Virgin responded with some very low Economy fares to the usual suspects - NYC, BOS, LAX - BA seems to have been then price matching - or better - downwards. WTP and Premium Economy has followed in its wake. This isn't unusual, but it tends to start - and end - without much of a formal signal.
